தமிழில் அறிவழகன் - அருள்நிதி இணைப்பில் ரீமேக்காகி வரும் 'மெமரீஸ்' ரீமேக்கிற்கு 'ஆறாது சினம்' என்று தலைப்பிட்டு இருக்கிறார்கள்.

'ஈரம்', 'வல்லினம்' போன்ற வித்தியாசமான கதைக்களங்களைக் கொண்ட படங்களை இயக்கியவர் இயக்குநர் அறிவழகன்.

தற்போது அறிவழகன் இயக்கும் இப்படம் மலையாளத்தில் பெரும் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்ற 'மெமரீஸ்' படத்தின் ரீமேக்காகும். ப்ருத்வி ராஜ் நடித்திருந்த இப்படத்தை ஜீத்து ஜோசப் இயக்கி இருந்தார். தற்போது இப்படத்துக்கு 'ஆறாது சினம்' என்று தலைப்பிட்டு இருக்கிறார்கள்.

The fact that "Vettah" is the directorial venture of Rajesh Raman Pillai is the USP of the movie as the filmmaker has already proved his talent with the movies "Traffic" and "Mili," which still remains in the mind of the audience. The upcoming thriller is also expected to repeat the success of his previous movies.

Genre

"Vettah" is said to be a psychological thriller, a genre that is not very familiar for the Kerala audience. Therefore, the movie is expected to make a mark following the steps of "Traffic" and "Mili." "Rajesh as a director always tries to given an emotional angle to his thriller movies and I believe he has given importance to feelings and emotions in 'Vettah' as well," said Kunchacko Boban, while sharing his experience in working in the movie.

Manju Warrier

Manju made her comeback to acting through Rosshan Andrews' "Home Old Are You" after a gap of 14 years and most of the characters she did was of a home-maker. Through "Vettah," the actress is all set to shine as a cop, and the audience have been eagerly awaiting to see her performance as Sreebala IPS in the psychological thriller.

Casting

Kunchacko plays a mysterious character named Melvin in the movie. He has claimed that the movie is very thrilling and that the audience will never get a chance to even check their mobile phone while watching the movie. He has also hinted that the mystery will haunt the minds of the audience throughout the movie. Indrajith has shined as a police officer many times before and he will be seen as ACP Sailex Abraham in the movie. "Vettah" also has Bhama, Vijayaraghavan, Prem Prakash, Deepak Parambol and Rony David Raj in pivotal roles.

Singer Shan Johnson's last movie

Shan Johnson, daughter of late musician Johnson Master, has penned the Hindi lyrics of the song "Raavumaayave" for "Vettah." This was her last song for a Malayalam movie and had shared her excitement in working with Shaan Rahman just a day before her death. "Yet another beautiful song by Shaan Rahman for which i had the opportunity to pen few lines in Hindi.... It's for the upcoming Malayalam film 'Vettah' starring Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier," wrote Shan while sharing the song on her Facebook page. The song has already become popular and Shaan's intense background music is also expected to do wonders with the emotions of the thriller.

The struggles of deities trouble mortals in Alex Proyas’ first film in seven years; however Gods of Egypt is unlikely to inflict much distress upon audiences for too long. Despite starting with a sense of grandeur — complete with rousing introductory music, knowing narration that speaks of romance, power and survival, and a computerised fly-over designed to showcase the mythological splendour of its titular setting — this fantasy-adventure film from the director of I, Robot and Knowing is unable back up its initial confidence with its content.

As audience-friendly as they may be, cast members are left wading through the middle ground between the unengaging narrative and over-emphasised aesthetics.

Set to rollout worldwide from February 25, Gods of Egypt could follow in the footsteps of another American-Australian co-production released at this tenuous time of year: 2015’s Jupiter Ascending. The two movies share not only casts littered with marketable names — Gerard Butler, Geoffrey Rush andGame of Thrones’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the current case — but prominent visuals that aren’t enough to divert focus from the flimsy romps that comprise their respective narratives.

The tactics of a contingent of soldiers in the feature’s opening battle offer an omen of things to come, as they help their blood-thirsty leader, Set (Butler), stop his nephew, Horus (Coster-Waldau), from being crowned Egypt’s new king. Though Horus’ kindly father, Osiris (Bryan Brown), has already been dispensed with and the fight seemingly favours Set, they try to dazzle their ruler’s opponent with the glare from their glistening shields. Rarely has a film’s determination to distract viewers with the sleekness and shine of its imagery been mirrored so obviously in its story.

Set, Osiris and Horus may be three of the gods in this film’s title, but as the former terrorises his fellow divinities and enslaves his subjects, and the latter scurries away sulking in the aftermath, they’re hardly acting like higher beings. It is little wonder that mischievous common thief Bek (Brenton Thwaites, continuing to build on a resume that includes Maleficent and The Giver) refuses to worship them, even if they do literally tower over humanity.

Besotted with the attractive Zaya (Courtney Eaton), Bek prefers to place his faith in love, agreeing to carry out her plan to steal Horus’ eyes from Set’s booby-trapped vault — and therefore hopefully restore Horus to the throne — in an effort to resume his life with the object of his affection.

Cue a scheme that hits more than a few snags, including unlikely odd-couple pairing of Bek and Horus, and further quests traversing everything from heavenly plateaus to desert ruins to the afterlife. Horus tries to wreak revenge, the yearning Bek tags along after striking a bargain with his new pal, and Set sends his flunkies to chase them. More gods pop up, such as lord of the light Ra (Rush) and keeper of wisdom Thoth (Chadwick Boseman), yet Dracula Untold and The Last Witch Hunter screenwriters Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless fail to do much past go through the motions. The light-hearted tone of their tale is the one saving grace of an offering that, drama-wise, always feels like a foregone conclusion.

Proyas’ attempt to energise the film is scarcely surprising in such circumstances, though filling the screen with CGI isn’t the most effective method of doing so. His images attract attention, but scream of superficial spectacle. The visual momentum that made the Australian helmer’s The Crow stand out is dwarfed by a video game-like approach that looks better from afar than up close. In scenes featuring waterfalls, fire and giant serpents, Gods of Egypt verges on exaggeratedly theatrical, which — if nothing else — might help the movie’s cult fortunes years from now.

As audience-friendly as they may be, the cast is left wading through the middle ground between the unengaging narrative and over-emphasised aesthetics. It could be that the whitewashing controversy surrounding the majority of the actors’ inclusion is destined to remain the most remembered aspect of their involvement. Coster-Waldau hews close to his famous Game of Thronestelevision role, and while he conjures ample rapport with the likeable Thwaites and acrimony with the overplaying Butler, none are more than serviceable. Indeed, Rufus Sewell proves the film’s most welcome — and underused — presence, as well as a reminder of better times for his director. Here, both are worlds away from the thrills and twists of their first collaboration, the unexpected sci-fi hit that was 1998’s Dark City.

கடந்தஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் மாதக்கடைசியில் ஜெயம்ரவி நடித்த தனிஒருவன் வெளியானது. அவருடைய முந்தைய எல்லாப்படங்களையும் விடக் கூடுதலான வரவேற்பு மற்றும் வசூலைப் பெற்று, அப்படத்தில் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட எல்லோருக்கும் மிகப்பெரிய மதிப்பைப் பெற்றுத்தந்தது அந்தப்படம். அந்தப்படத்தின் வெற்றி காரணமாகவே சில ஆண்டுகளாகக் கிடப்பில் கிடந்த பூலோகம் படம் வெளியானது.

அந்தப்படமும் நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்று ஜெயம்ரவிக்குப் பலம் சேர்த்தது. அதைத் தொடர்ந்து இந்தவாரம் ஜெயம்ரவி நடித்திருக்கும் மிருதன் படம் வெளியாகவிருக்கிறது. தனிஒருவன் படத்துக்குப் பிறகு அவர் நடித்தபடம் இது. தமிழ்த்திரையுலகில் இதுவரை வராத புத்தம்புதிய கதைக்களத்துடன் இந்தப்படம் தயாராகியிருக்கிறது. ஸோம்பிக்கள் பற்றிய படங்கள் ஹாலிவுட்டில் நிறைய உண்டு. தமிழில் இதுதான் முதல்படம்.

மனிதன் பாதி மிருகம் பாதி கொண்ட மனிதர்கள்தாம் ஸோம்பிக்கள் என்று சொல்கிறார்கள். ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வகை வைரஸ் தாக்குதல் காரணமாக இப்படி மாறுகிறார்கள் என்பது அறிவியல்காரணம். அதனால்தான் இந்தப்படத்துக்கு மிருகம் என்கிற சொல்லிலிருந்து முதலிரண்டு எழுத்துகளையும் மனிதன் என்கிற சொல்லிலிருந்து கடைசி இரண்டு எழுத்துகளையும் எடுத்து மிருதன் என்று பெயர் வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். 

இந்தப்படத்தை நாய்கள்ஜாக்கிரதை என்கிற வெற்றிப்படத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து சக்திசௌந்தர்ராஜன் இயக்கியிருக்கிறார். இவரும் முந்தைய வெற்றி தந்த உற்சாகத்தில் அதைத் தக்கவைத்தே ஆகவேண்டும் என்று களமிறங்கியிருக்கிறார். இந்தப்படபத்தில் லட்சுமிமேனன் முதன்முறை ஜெயம்ரவியுடன் சேர்ந்து நடித்திருக்கிறார். அவர் இதுவரை நடித்த எல்லாப்படங்களுமே வெற்றி என்கிற சாதனைக்குச் சொந்தக்காரர். இதனால் இந்தப்படமும் வெற்றியடையும் என்கிற நம்பிக்கை திரையுலகில் இருக்கிறது. 

புதிய கதைக்களம், ஒரேநாளில் நடக்கிற கதை என்பதால் மிக வேகமான விறுவிறுப்பான திரைக்கதை, வெற்றிகளில் இருக்கும் இயக்குநர், நாயகன் மற்றும் நாயகி ஆகியோரின் கூட்டணி ஆகிய எல்லா அம்சங்களும் இந்தப்படத்தில் இருப்பதால் இந்தப்படமும் தனிஒருவன் வெற்றியைத் தக்கவைக்கும் படமாக அமையும் என்று உறுதியாக நம்புகிறார்கள்.

தமிழ் சினிமா பொறுத்தவரை எப்போதும் ரஜினி, கமல், விஜய், அஜித்படங்களுக்கு தான் பலத்த எதிர்ப்பார்ப்பு இருக்கும். இதற்கு அடுத்த இடத்தில் சூர்யா, விக்ரம், தனுஷ், சிவகார்த்திகேயன், சிம்பு ஆகிய நடிகர்கள் உள்ளனர்.

ஆனால், கடந்த ஆண்டு கொடுத்த ஹிட்ஸால் ஜெட் வேகத்தில் முன்னணி நடிகர்களின் இடத்தை பிடித்துவிட்டார் ஜெயம் ரவி. இவர் நடிப்பில் நாளை மிருதன் படம் திரைக்கு வரவுள்ளது.

விஜய் சேதுபதி முதன்முறையாக போலீஸ் வேடத்தில் நடிப்பது, ஹீரோயின் ரம்யா நம்பீசன், பண்ணையாரும் பத்மினியும் இயக்குநர் அருண்குமார் என்று எக்கசக்க எதிர்பார்புகளுடன் நாளை 'சேதுபதி' திரைப்படம் வெளியாகிறது.

விஜய் சேதுபதி நடிப்பில் கடைசியாக வெளியான நானும் ரவுடிதான் படத்தில் ரவுடியாக நடித்திருந்தார். படத்தைத் தூக்கி நிறுத்தியது நயன்தாரா என்றாலும், காமெடி ரவுடியாக விஜய் சேதுபதியும் கவர்ந்தார் என்பதை மறுப்பதற்கில்லை. இந்நிலையில் தனது பீட்சா ஹிட் ஹீரோயின் ரம்யா நம்பீசனுடன் இணைந்து அவர் நடித்திருக்கும் சேதுபதி திரைப்படம் நாளை வெளியாகிறது. போலீசாக விஜய் சேதுபதி ஜெயிப்பாரா என்ற கேள்விக்கான விடை நம்மிடம் இல்லை என்றாலும் என்னென்ன காரணங்களுக்காக சேதுபதியை பார்க்கலாம் என்று பார்த்து விடுவோம்.

சூது கவ்வும் தாஸ், சுமார் மூஞ்சி குமார், நானும் ரவுடிதான் பாண்டி என்று எல்லா வேடங்களுக்கும் பொருந்திப் போகும் விஜய் சேதுபதி கண்டிப்பாக சேதுபதி வேடத்திலும் அசத்தியிருப்பார்.

போலீஸ் படமென்பதால் ஏற்றிய உடம்புடன் ஆக்ஷன் காட்சிகளில் விஜய் சேதுபதி மிரட்டி எடுத்திருப்பதாக கூறுகின்றனர். படத்தின் புரோமோ காட்சிகளிலும் அது நன்றாக தெரிகிறது. விஜய் சேதுபதியை ஆக்ஷன் ஹீரோவாக பார்க்க ஆசைப்படுபவர்கள் தாராளமாக சேதுபதியை பார்க்கலாம்

 பீட்சாவில் கலக்கிய விஜய் சேதுபதி - ரம்யா நம்பீசன் ஜோடி மீண்டும் இந்தப் படத்தில் இணைந்து நடித்திருக்கின்றனர். 2 குழந்தைகளுடன் இருவரும் சேர்ந்து நிற்கும் புகைப்படங்களைப் பார்க்கையில் கண்டிப்பாக குடும்பத்துடன் பார்க்கலாம் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எழுகிறது.

இவரின் படங்களில் கதைக்கு அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் இருக்குமென்பதால் பஞ்ச் வசனங்கள் மற்றும் ஹீரோக்களின் என்ட்ரி பாடல் ஆகியவை கண்டிப்பாக இருக்காது. இந்தக் காரணங்கள் படத்தின் மீதான எதிர்பார்ப்பை அதிகரித்தாலும் ரவுடி போல போலீஸ் வேடத்திலும் விஜய் சேதுபதி ஜொலிப்பாரா? என்பதை நாளை வரை பொறுத்திருந்து பார்க்கலாம்.

பர்மா' படத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து ஸ்கொயர் ஸ்டோன் பிலிம்ஸ் சுதர்சன வெம்புட்டி, கே.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் ராவுடன் இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ள படம் "நவரச திலகம்'. மா.கா.பா.ஆனந்த் நாயகனாகவும், ஸ்ருஷ்டி டாங்கே நாயகியாகவும் நடித்துள்ளனர். இவர்களுடன் கருணாகரன், ஜெயபிரகாஷ், இளவரசு, பாவா லட்சுமணன், மீராகிருஷ்ணன், லஷ்மி, மகாதேவன் ஆகியோர் நடிக்கிறார்கள். வித்தியாசமான வேடம் ஒன்றில், "இதற்குத் தானே ஆசைப்பட்டாய் பாலகுமாரா', "வல்லவனுக்கு புல்லும் ஆயுதம்' பேஹான்ற படங்களின் இசையமைப்பாளர் சித்தார்த் விபின் நடித்துள்ளார்.

படம் பற்றி இயக்குநர் காம்ரன் கூறியதாவது, ""ரியல் எஸ்டேட் துறையில் மிகப்பெரிய சாதனை படைத்து, உலக அளவில் புகழ்பெற வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் நாயகன் மூர்த்தியின் ஒரே ஆசை. 1ஜில்ஜங்ஜக்- இது போன வருச நியூஸ்

ஜில் ஜங் ஜக்' திரைப்படம் அடுத்தாண்டு தான் வெளியாகும் என்று நடிகரும் தயாரிப்பாளருமான சித்தார்த் அறிவித்திருக்கிறார்.

'ஜில் ஜங் ஜக்' என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டிருக்கும் படத்தில் நடித்து, தயாரித்திருக்கிறார் சித்தார்த். முழுப் படப்பிடிப்பும் முடிந்து, தற்போது இறுதிகட்டப் பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வந்தது. இப்படம் நாயகியே இல்லாமல் உருவாகும் 'டார்க்' காமெடி வகை படமாகும்.

இப்படத்தை தீரஜ் வைத்தி என்ற புதுமுக இயக்குநர் இயக்கி இருக்கிறார், விஷால் சந்திரசேகர் இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். செப்டம்பர் 14ம் தேதி இப்படத்தின் ட்ரெய்லரையும், அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து படத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு பாடலையும் இணையத்தில் வெளியிட்டார்கள். ஏற்கனவே டிசம்பர் 24ம் தேதி 'ஜில் ஜங் ஜக்' வெளியாகும் என்று நடிகர் சித்தார்த் அறிவித்திருந்தார்.

வில்அம்பு திரைப்படத்தின் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சந்திப்பின்போது, இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் சுப்ரமணியம் பேசியது, நான் இப்படத்தின் கதையை எழுதும் போது புதியதோர் கதையை எழுத வேண்டும் என்று யோசித்தேன். அப்படி யோசிக்கும் போது எல்லா கதைகளும் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் வந்த கதைகளாகவே இருந்தன. 

பின்னர் ஏதாவது புதுமையாக இருக்க வேண்டுமே ?? ஆதலால் கதாபாத்திரத்தை புதுமையாக கையாளலாமா ?? அல்லது வேறு ஏதாவது புதுமையாக செய்யலாமா என்று யோசித்த போது, திரைக்கதையை புதுமையாக அமைக்கலாம் என்று முடிவு செய்து. திரைக்கதையை புதிய கோணத்தில் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தேன். 

எழுதும் போதே இது இரண்டு நாயகர்கள் கதை என்று முடிவு செய்து தான் எழுத ஆரம்பித்தேன். எல்லா இரண்டு நாயகர்கள் கதையிலும் இரண்டு பேருக்கும் ஏதாவது ஒரு சம்பந்தம் இருக்கும். ஒன்று இரண்டு நாயகர்களும் ஒரே பெண்ணை காதலிப்பார்கள் அல்லது படத்தின் ஏதாவது ஒரு கட்டத்தில் இருவரும் சந்திப்பார்கள் மோதல் வரும் இல்லையென்றால் படத்தின் இறுதியில் இருவரும் ஒரு வரை ஒருவர் சந்திப்பார்கள். ஆனால் இந்த கதையின் சிறப்பு என்னவென்றால் படத்தின் இரண்டு கதாநாயகர்களும் ஒரு காட்சியில் கூட ஒருவரை ஒருவர் சந்தித்து பேசமாட்டார்கள். ஆனால் கதை இவர்களை சுற்றியே நகரும். 

படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களான கார்த்தியும் அருளும் எந்த ஒரு காட்சியிலும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் சந்திக்கமாட்டார்கள் மற்றும் இருவருக்கும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் யாரென்று தெரியாது.

படத்துக்கு வில் அம்பு என்று தலைப்பு வைப்பதற்கு முன்னர் நாங்கள் நிறைய தலைப்பை ஆலோசனையில் வைத்திருந்தோம். கதைக்கு ஏற்றார்போல் இந்த தலைப்பு கனகச்சிதமாக இருந்ததால் படத்துக்கு வில் அம்பு என்று தலைப்பு வைத்தோம். படத்தில் இரண்டு நாயகர்கள் ஸ்ரீ மற்றும் ஹரிஷ் கல்யான். கதைப்படி யார் வில் யார் அம்பு என்று கேட்கிறார்கள். 

கதையின் ஓட்டத்தில் சில காட்சிகளில் ஸ்ரீயும் சில காட்சிகளில் ஹரிஷ் கல்யாணம் வில்லாகவும் அம்பாகவும் மாறி மாறி வாருவார்கள். படத்தின் மூலம் நாங்கள் எவ்வித கருத்தையும் கூறவில்லை. உண்மைக்கு அருகில் இருந்து தெளிவாக ஒரு படத்தை எடுத்திருக்கிறோம். படத்தை நாங்கள் கோவையில் படம்பிடித்தோம். கோவையை மிகவும் துல்லியமாகவும் புதிய கோணத்திலும் படம்பிடித்துள்ளோம். 

சென்னையில் மட்டுமில்லை கோவையிலும் சேரி பகுதி உள்ளது. நாயகன் ஸ்ரீ கோவையில் உள்ள சேரி பகுதி பையனாக வருகிறார். மற்றொரு நாயகனான ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண் படித்து முடித்து சினிமாவுக்கு தான் போகவேண்டும் என்று இல்லாமல் வீடியோ கடை வைத்து முன்னரே வேண்டும் அப்படியும் முன்னேற முடியும் என்று வாழ்ந்து வருபவர். சேரி பகுதியில் இருக்கும் ஸ்ரீ சின்ன சின்ன திருட்டு வேலைகளை செய்பவராக வருகிறார். ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண மற்றும் அவருடைய தந்தைக்கிடையே படத்தில் நடிக்கும் காட்சி மிகவும் சிறப்பாக வந்துள்ளது. ஹரிஷ் கல்யாணின் நிஜ தந்தை தான் படத்தில் அவருக்கு தந்தையாக நடித்துள்ளார். ஸ்ருஷ்டி டாங்கே, சமஸ்க்ரிதி மற்றும் சாந்தினி ஆகியோர் படத்தில் கதாநாயகிகளாக நடித்துள்ளனர்.

ஸ்பைடர் மேன், சூப்பர் மேன், பேட்மேன் போன்ற சூப்பர் அமானுஷ்ய சக்தி கொண்ட கேரக்டர்களில் ஒருவர் டெட்பூல். ஆனால் இவர் கொஞ்சம் நெகட்டிவான ஆள். கூலிப்படை தலைவனாக இருக்கும் டெட்பூலுக்கு புற்று நோய் வந்து விடுகிறது. தன் மரணத்துக்கு முன் தன் எதிரிகளை அழிக்க நினைக்கிறார். ஆனால் தன் நண்பர் ஒருவரை தவறுதலாக கொன்று விடுகிறார். 

கேன்சரில் சாகப்போகும் வில்சனுக்கு விசித்திர சோதனை செய்வதற்கு முடிவெடுக்கிறார்கள். அந்த சோதனை செய்தால் கேன்சர் குணமடைய வாய்ப்பு இருக்கிறது என்று ஏமாற்றி சம்மதம் வாங்குகிறார்கள். வழக்கம்போல் அந்த சோதனை ஏடாகூடமாக மாறிவிட, வில்சனின் தோல் முழுவதும் புண்ணாகிவிடுகிறது. ஆனால் உடலின் உள் உறுப்புகள் அத்தனையும் பலம் பெற்றுவிடுகின்றன. சுருக்கமாக சொல்வது என்றால் ஸ்பைடர்மேன், சூப்பர்மேன் போன்று வில்சனும் டெட்பூல் எனப்படும் சூப்பர் ஹீரோவாக மாறிவிடுகிறான்.

எகே. சாஜன் இயக்கத்தில் மம்முட்டி, நயன்தாரா இருவரும் புதிய நியமம் என்ற படத்தில் நடித்திருந்தனர். படப்பிடிப்புகள் முடிவடைந்த நிலையில் படம் டிசம்பர் 24ம் திகதி வெளியாகும் என கூறப்பட்டது.

 'Sanam Re,' a romantic-musical with Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela keeps its Valentine's weekend date at the cinemas, director Divya Khosla Kumar talks about what went into making her second directorial venture extra special.

Pulkit and Yami's characters start as kids in the film. They don't have just one scene but there's a story around them. Divya says directing them was easy. "Being a mother myself, I know how to handle children. I brought out their innocence through the lens. I had to ignite the right emotions to ensure we captured their child-like reactions correctly." Divya believes Pulkit and Yami have potential that had not been exploited. She says, "As a filmmaker, I knew I could bring that out. I did a six-month workshop with Yami as her screen journey starts as a 16-year-old. She also lost adequate weight to look that part."

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor plays Pulkit's Dadaji. He was constantly questioning the director. She attributes the senior actor's constant questioning to his need to be satisfied with his character graph. "We had some brainstorming sessions which further helped. He has taken the graph of his character notches higher and his performance is brilliant."

Bharti Singh plays the leader of a summer camp where Pulkit and Yami go to. "Bharti is talented and she suited the character well. Pulkit comes to this camp to discover himself," says the director, adding, "Apart from being a love story, the film is also about stopping a bit, listening to the heart and enjoying every moment."

I started scripting 'Sanam Re' in January (2014), commenced shooting in December (2014) and had it ready in a year. We got a 'U' rating with no cuts. My film is for youth and family audiences. It's about the emotion of love being lost."
